Jim is originally from Fife and has lived in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London. He made his professional stage debut at the age of 12 and his television debut at the age of 13 in HIGH ROAD for Scottish Television. He went on to train at ArtsEd London.
Television appearances include CASUALTY (BBC), HOLBY CITY (BBC) and SEA OF SOULS (BBC Scotland).
Jim has worked on many theatre productions most recently playing Billy in a No.1 Tour of THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE.
His radio work includes LONG ROAD TO IONA (Radio 4), SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND MONDAY (Radio 4), MCLEAVY (Radio 4) and THE MISUNDERSTANDING OF GLENCOE and LYNTON BAY (both BBC Radio Scotland).
