Biography

Moya’s voiceover work includes corporate, animation, video games and ADR. She frequently re-voices UK commercials for Australian TV.

Moya also works as a writer and amongst her TV credits are numerous episodes of the BAFTA Award winning animated series, YOKO! JAKAMOKO! TOTO!

Her writing work also extends to BBC Radio Drama, with original scripts such as DAY OFF, LOVELY WITCHES, CQD as well as adaptations; SEPTEMBER TIDE, THE GROUP and A TOWN LIKE ALICE which won the Silver Sony Award in 1998. She has also written two original comedy series KALANGADOG JUNCTION and THE CHOCOLATE LOVERS’ CLUB.

WRITING
Moya’s radio work includes Theo which was voted most popular play ever from the BBC Archive by the listeners of Radio 7 as part of the station’s Fifth Birthday Celebrations and A Town Like Alice winner of a Sony Award in 1998. Other radio includes adaptations of Mary McCarthy’s The Group and Daphne du Maurier’s play, September Tide. Moya has been commissioned by Convergence Productions to adapt Theo into a two-parter for TV.

Amongst her original works for radio are Kalangadog Junction, The Chocolate Lovers’ Club, Lovely Witches, Late in the Day and A Night in ’54.  Her latest radio projects are the original play Digging For Victory and for the Classic Serial spot, an adaptation of Edna Ferber's Show Boat.

Work for TV includes Byker Grove, Doctors and the animated series Tree Fu Tom, Driver Dan's Story Train, Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto!, Eddy & The Bear, Gordon the Garden Gnome and The Koala Brothers.

Moya's play Room Service Included is being produced at The Mill At Sonning in January, 2012.
