Biography

Tom Davis is an exciting new comedy actor and stand-up whose most recent TV project The Warm Up Guy aired as part of Channel 4's 'Comedy Lab' series, in which Tom starred as Iain Bodkin, a struggling studio warm up comedian and self deluded wally who thinks he is a superstar in the making.

Tom has recently starred in the ‘Comic Strip Presents’ Channel 4 film The Hunt for Tony Blair.

His first appearance in a feature film will be a cameo role of Gutsy George in independent British Film Outside Bet, starring Bob Hoskins, directed by Sacha Bennett and released in the UK in April 2012.

Tom is most widely recognised as starring alongside Morgana Robinson and Terry Mynott in channel 4’s The Morgana Show featuring a host of celebrity impressions and original comedy characters such as the obnoxious banker who receives his comeuppance and Barry the funeral director.  Tom is currently in pre-production with Morgana for an exciting new impressions show that will be starting on Channel 4 in the spring.

As a stand-up, Tom will be performing at Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival as well as both Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe in 2012. He has gigged at some of the country’s most prestigious comedy clubs including Glee, Outside the Box, Spanked, Electric Mouse, Banana Cabaret, Up The Creek, Downstairs at the Kings Head, Lowdown at the Albany and Just the Tonic.
